These terms govern your use of the platform: creating an account, booking lessons with a teacher, and attending them over video.
Accounts
An account is held by an adult. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done from your account.
Lessons and bookings
You book a free trial lesson, then buy a course, privately or as a seat in a group. The school assigns your teacher. Lessons take place in the platform's own lesson room at the booked time, shown to you in your own time zone, and every lesson is recorded. To move or cancel a lesson, contact support.
Payments and missed lessons
Prices are in US dollars, and a course is paid for once, before its lessons begin. A lesson the school cancels is returned to your course. Refunds are given as lessons, not money, except in rare cases the school decides. A lesson missed without notice counts as attended.
Learners who are children
Where the learner is a child, the parent or guardian holding the account books, pays and communicates on their behalf. We record the child's name and age so the teacher knows who they are teaching, and nothing more. The child never signs in and is never contacted directly.
